“I only started weight resistance training in late spring 2022, I hadn’t been a regular gym-goer before and wanted to be stronger and fitter. I enjoy working out as I got good early gains in fitness and strength straightaway; however, I was eager to learn more on how to improve my training and gain lean muscle mass faster.

I’ve been training with Ed since September 2022. At first it was just to ask for training advice on improving my form and technique on different exercises, plus tips on nutrition. Ed has been able to help with that and more!

Ed is keen on coaching safe form, technique and full range of motion. He’s given me great advice on adjusting my training intensity when I’ve been recovering from a minor injury or illness. It’s helped me a lot to avoid overtraining and allowing for sufficient recovery and rehabilitation.

Ed helped with training programmes to push my limits by introducing new exercises and advanced training techniques to stimulate muscle growth. I had never done a deadlift before and at first it was hard to deadlift my own bodyweight. With Ed’s coaching advice and programming, I now comfortably deadlift over twice my bodyweight and I’m still improving!

I’ve gained 5kg of lean muscle mass since training with Ed and my body fat has reduced by 2% or more too. I now have a noticeable six-pack!”
